The Leadership Diary Training Program (LDTP) is a youth leadership development initiative committed to equipping young people with the values, skills, and clarity needed to lead purposeful and impactful lives.
For over a decade, LDTP has trained and mentored young people across multiple locations in Ghana, building a growing community of responsible, service-driven leaders.
We believe leadership is not accidental — it is intentional, cultivated, and lived.
Our Process Flow
Our approach combines structured leadership learning with real-world application to develop purposeful and impactful leaders.
LDTP adopts a transformational learning approach that shapes both mindset and leadership capability. Participants explore personal leadership, financial literacy, wellbeing, and career readiness through interactive sessions, mentorship, and reflective learning experiences.
The programme combines virtual learning with practical leadership experiences. Participants engage in online sessions, collaborative workshops, and community-based projects that allow them to apply leadership principles in real-world contexts.
Participants graduate with stronger self-awareness, communication skills, critical thinking ability, and the confidence to initiate change. The programme equips young leaders to take responsibility, work collaboratively, and drive positive transformation in their communities.
The Leadership Diary Training Program is strategically positioned across Ghana’s key regions, bridging the gap for the next generation of impact-driven leaders.
LDTP goes beyond leadership training by providing enriching experiences that support personal growth, wellbeing, and real-world exposure.

Exposure to industries, institutions, and professional environments to broaden perspectives and inspire career interests.

Excursions that build connections, experience new environments, and encourage leadership reflection beyond the classroom.

Access to health screenings and wellness education to encourage healthy lifestyles and long-term wellbeing.

Personal guidance to help participants navigate life decisions, discover strengths, and plan their academic and professional journeys.
LDTP equips participants to grow, explore, and connect while unlocking their potential and shaping their future.
Enriching experiences and events that extend the LDTP journey beyond the programme.
The Leaders Breakfast Meeting is a reflective gathering held after the conclusion of each LDTP cohort. Past participants come together in a relaxed, interactive setting to share insights from their experience, provide valuable tips for advancing to the next level, and contribute ideas for planning the upcoming year's workshop.
It's an opportunity to celebrate achievements, strengthen the alumni community, and ensure that each cohort builds on the successes and learnings of those before them.
The Sharpening Your Saw Conference (SYSC) is an annual, multi-day, residential leadership event organized by the Youth Arise Organisation (YAO) in Ghana.
Designed for youth workers and students, the conference focuses on self-renewal, skill development, and networking — aiming to equip young people to become effective leaders and change-makers in their communities.
